Game Rules
-
Each match will consist of 3 games.
-
You will play all 3 games regardless if a team has won the 1st two games.
-
-
Alternate throwing between both teams from the same end.
-
Each teammate will stand across from each other on their perspective board on opposite ends.
-
-
The first team to 21 wins the game.
-
You may go over 21 and still win (no busts).
-
Play the game to 21 regardless if the opponent hasn't scored (no skunks).
-
-
Cancellation scoring format
-
1 point for a bag on the board
-
3 points for a bag that goes in the hole
-
Example of cancellation scoring. Team 1 has 3 bags on the board and Team 2 has 1 on the board and 1 in the hole. Team 1 has 3 points, Team 2 has 4 points. The difference between the points is the actual score. Team 2 would score 1 point.
-
-
Players switch ends with their teammate after each game.
-
No overhand throwing
-
If a bag hits the ground before hitting the board, it does not count and should be removed before the next bag is thrown.
-
If a bag hangs over the edge of the board and does not touch the ground, it is considered good. (No lifting of the board to see if it falls off)
-
Players that are throwing must stay behind the front edge of the board with their feet until the bag is released.
-
At the end of each game, record the game score on a scoresheet provided
-
After your 3 games are completed a member from each team should sign off on the score before turning it in.
-
-
Standings will be updated weekly and are based on your overall match record.
-
1st tie breaker will be your overall games won and lost.
-
2nd tie breaker will be total points scored.
